I know tandem reads are popular with readers, so allow me to highlight that Dark Shores and Dark Skies can be read together to create a multiple POV experience.

I originally wrote Dark Shores and Dark Skies as ONE novel with all four points of view, but the size and complexity put off publishers who were concerned that the audience would feel intimidated by a thousand page YA novel. So we made the choice to split it into two novels, one following Marcus and Teriana and the other Lydia and Killian, and then include all four points of view in Gilded Serpent (book 3).
